There are some general rules that need to be followed in order to maintain membership.

- You need to know the WFTDA rules in order to play the game effectively, follow this link
- WFTDA Insurance
- We are a WFTDA registered team so, in order to play WFTDA sanctioned bouts, you will need to register with WFTDA and purchase WFTDA insurance. WFTDA insurance is currently $75 once a year.
- Once registered you will see the link titled “Purchase New WFTDA Insurance” shown below in your WFTDA profile home page. Follow the instruction and make your payment. Your WFTDA insurance number will be provided after payment is complete. ** Your insurance number is not your WFTDA Member ID.

- Bylaws
- Yes, we have those. Most leagues will have bylaws a BOD just like any other sports teams that involves a village to run. When you join our team you will have access to all of this information. For now, see below for our Skaters’ Bill of Rights and Skaters’ Code of Conduct.
FWRD Skaters’ Bill of Rights
The Skaters’ Bill of Rights is the foundation on which FWRD was established; the Skaters’ Bill of Rights may never be changed, under any circumstance, or by any vote.
You have the right to hold your teammates and coaches accountable.
You have the right to a fair and unbiased tryout.
You have the right to receive and accept constructive criticism.
You have the right to call an assembly.
You have the right to view all team records, financial or otherwise.
You have the right to a public attendance record.
You have the right to be coached and be coachable.
You have the right to a competent, productive practice schedule
You have the right to have fun.
You have the right to kick ass.
You have the right to League transparency.
You have the right to give input and be met with respect.
You have the right to flow like water.
Skaters’ Code of Conduct
Skaters, Non-Skaters and Volunteers will:
Keep the FWRD track clean by leaving personal issues at home and not instigating drama.
Not maliciously gossip or intentionally create disharmony within the League.
Respect teammates, coaches, and officials at all times.
Not bemoan an issue without providing a potential resolution for the complaint.
Not bully or harass other skaters, coaches, or officials.
Adhere to WFTDA rule sets.
Not engage in egregious violence.
Treat other derby leagues and businesses with common courtesy.
Adhere to FWRD policies, regardless of forum.
Represent FWRD in a professional capacity
