Whether you are an experienced skater with years under your belt or have no skating skills at all, there are many ways to dive into the world of roller derby.

If you are interested in skating and have zero skating skills, you’re in luck! We are always looking for new skaters! Because you’re a new starry eyed skater, we’d recommend you start with our Basic Skills Bootcamp, 8 lessons for $30.00, just pay Venmo or PayPal with the word “BOOTCAMP”. You can also search our calendar for special recruitment nights, or check out our Instagram or Facebook for upcoming training/boot camp events. (Honestly, come as you are, whenever, and we will happily put skates on you.)

If you are an experienced skater, please drop in at a practice. We ask for a $10 donation for experienced skaters. If you like what you see and appreciate our team ethos, just let one of the FWRD Body of Directors know you’d like to join and you’re in. Simple as that.

FWRD needs your help to put on a great show! Whether its for scrimmages , WFTDA sanctioned bouts or our fundraising events. In order to make sure our game is tight, we need the following roles filled each and every event.

• Photographer (Optional – We always need more photos of us kicking ass or getting our asses kicked.)
• Videographer (Optional – Always great to have clips for our promotion. We also have a YouTube channel and help is always appreciated.)

If you are new to the world of Roller Derby we would like for you to first attend one of our bouts and introduce yourself. If you have experience in the world of Derby follow the link below and tell us all about why we should let you join in on the fun.
