Whether you are an experienced skater with years under your belt or have no skating skills at all, there are many ways to dive into the world of roller derby.

If you are interested in skating and have zero skating skills, you’re in luck! We are always looking for new skaters at all levels!

Starting in 2027 we will have our Basic Skills Bootcamp 3 times a year. Before you sign up, please see the google calendar on our events page for bootcamp dates. We provide 8 lessons for $30.00, just pay via Venmo or PayPal with the note “BOOTCAMP” and fill out the Registration form here. If you don’t want to pay for bootcamp, our calendar will also show free recruitment nights, however these typically only happen twice a year. You can follow our Instagram or Facebook for upcoming training/boot camp events too. Come as you are and we will happily put skates on you.

If you are an experienced skater, please fill out the Registration form here and send a $10 donation with the note “DROP-IN” via Venmo or PayPal. We will contact you and let you know the next available drop in date. If you like what you see and appreciate our team ethos, just let one of the FWRD Body of Directors know you’d like to join, pay club dues and you’re in. Simple as that.

FWRD needs your help to put on a great show! Whether its for scrimmages , WFTDA sanctioned bouts or our fundraising events. In order to make sure our game is tight, we need the following roles filled each and every event.

• Videographer (Optional – Always great to have clips for our promotion. We also have a YouTube channel and help is always appreciated.)
